SOUNDPROOFING DOOR SEAL
Reducing the amount of sound that passes through a door set is a common application for Mandi Soundproofing door seals. Sealing door gaps is of prime importance when helping to reduce the amount of sound entering or leaving a room or building. Unlike air, where the amount flowing through a gap changes in proportion to the gap size, sound waves move through these gaps with little loss. Consequently, small gaps around a doorway can let through nearly as much sound as an open door.

Low frequencies are particularly difficult to absorb due to their long wavelengths. Bass traps are designed and constructed to absorb these longer waves and control unwanted room resonances. Thicker absorbers offer broadband absorption extending to lower frequencies. Available in half-rounds or quarter-rounds. Mandi Acoustic Ceiling Cloud allows you to horizontally suspend sound absorbing panels to reduce echo and reverberation. These clouds come in 60 different colors, and 2 thicknesses. Each cloud is wrapped with industry standard Mandi acoustic fabric acoustically transparent fabric. Underneath the fabric is a high-density fiberglass acoustical core for maximum sound absorption. With a Class 1 fire-rating, these panels will meet building code requirements for both public and private facilities.
